Job summary

University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry seeks a Program Coordinator to support PAETC Southern California training initiatives and related activities. You will recruit participants, handle registrations, market programs, and manage logistics for trainings and materials.

Department Summary

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Program Director, this position coordinates and supports program operations for PAETC Southern California training initiatives, including participant recruitment and registration, marketing and outreach, training logistics, development and dissemination of training materials, and administrative, technical, and financial support for training activities. The position oversees continuing education certification processes, supports data collection and reporting requirements, and ensures compliance with program and funding requirements. In addition, the incumbent coordinates activities for the PAETC Southern Region Interprofessional Education (IPE) Program and serves as a liaison with participating partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and web access technology. Experience writing reports, summarizing project performance, preparing and presenting Excel spreadsheets, graphs, power point presentations, etc. (Required)
  • Demonstrated capacity to build relationships and effective collaborations with diverse community organizations and healthcare providers. (Required)
  • Knowledge and understanding of systems and public and private sector organizations serving patients with medical and supportive services needs who are underserved and disadvantaged. (Required)
  • Record of consistent and dependable performance of full-time work. Willing to work outside regular hours when occasionally required for project activities. (Required)
  • Aptitude for information, technology and computer-oriented tasks. (Preferred)
  • Experience working in or with underserved populations and a thorough appreciation for related challenges. (Required)
  • Experience working in a clinical setting or familiarity with clinical operations. Prior work experience in medical, oral or public health arenas. (Preferred)

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. (Preferred)
