Qualifications

• Post high-school education up to 18 months; Cardiac Device School graduate
• IBHRE certification preferred
• Familiarity with device checks and reprogramming under physician guidance
• Experience with remote monitoring is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily function of pacemaker/defibrillator clinics.
• Performs device checks in-person or via telephonic/remote monitoring.
• Reprograms devices as directed by the physician to optimize performance.
• Educates patients and schedules follow-up device checks per protocol.
• Collaborates with Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist on treatment plans.
• Maintains records and documentation of device function and checks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
