San Ysidro Health is seeking a Personal Care Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant to support participants with daily living activities, showering, feeding, and companionship during medical appointments. The role includes home meal delivery support and basic clerical tasks.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of PCA experience, plus excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the PACE RN Supervisor and the day center nursing team, the Personal Care Aides & Certified Nursing Assistants provide support in the delivery of personal care to participants and to participants in need of companionship services to and from medical appointments. Services include, but are not limited to, participant care activities such as showering, toileting, serving, feeding and other Activities of Daily Living. Position will assist with home delivery of meals and medical supplies. Position may also assist in other areas such as kitchen, primary care and therapy.
