Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is seeking a motivated TIQ Safety Testing Technician to support safe installation and release of Pumps, Abatement, and Chiller systems in our semiconductor manufacturing environment.

You will partner with Facilities Engineering, Equipment Owners, Field Service Engineers, and Trade teams to coordinate safety testing activities, validate equipment readiness, maintain critical documentation, and help deliver on-time project execution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience or military training will be considered.
• 2+ years in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, industrial systems, tool installations, safety testing, automation, or related operations.
• Experience with pumps, chillers, abatement systems, facility equipment, or related tech.
• Ability to read procedures, document accurately, and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, electronic, or software issues and documenting actions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate TIQ safety testing to support timely equipment releases and installations.
• Perform interlock testing on PAC systems and verify safety controls before release.
• Collaborate with engineers, tool owners, contractors, and field service teams to schedule testing and resolve delays.
• Facilitate EFF reviews by ensuring testing and documentation meet requirements.
• Maintain TMQ records and installation documentation for compliance and traceability.
• Process work orders for PAC engineering changes, configuration updates, testing, and documentation revisions.
• Coordinate gas change requests and assist with application reviews when needed.
• Maintain safety release records including results and approval documents.
• Follow safety procedures, stay aware of surroundings, and use PPE in cleanroom environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and documentation.
