DDC Public Affairs is seeking an Account Executive for our PAC Engagement practice in Washington, DC. You will own day-to-day PAC client work, manage campaigns from strategy to launch, and translate goals into technology-enabled outreach.

The role blends writing, strategy, project management, and client advisory across a portfolio of corporate PAC programs, with exposure to a range of digital tools and compliance considerations. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in client service, account management, communications, campaigns, fundraising, advocacy, public affairs, or related fields.
  • Excellent written communication and ability to tailor messages for varied audiences.
  • Strong client-service instincts and confidence to communicate with clients and lead conversations.
  • Solid project management skills to juggle multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Comfort with technology and digital tools; understand how platforms and data drive campaigns.
  • Attention to detail in reviewing communications, data, and campaign materials.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day execution across a portfolio of PAC Engagement clients, managing timelines and deliverables.
  • Build trusted client relationships through regular calls and status updates.
  • Manage PAC engagement and fundraising campaigns from strategy through launch, including digital campaigns and events.
  • Draft and refine client communications, including emails, web copy, and campaign materials.
  • Translate client goals into tech-enabled campaigns using PAC platforms, CRM, and data tooling.
  • Coordinate across teams to move initiatives from idea to execution and troubleshoot issues.
  • Conduct QA across digital campaigns including emails, forms, and landing pages.
  • Analyze campaign performance and turn results into actionable recommendations.
  • Develop client-ready campaign recaps, reporting, and strategic materials.
  • Learn client PAC programs, cultures, and leadership approaches.
