PA STATE AND EMISSIONS INSPECTOR - AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

    We offer HOURLY positions, ranging from $15 - $20 per hour based on experience and abilities. Licensed and Certified Technicians can earn from $20+ to $35+ per hour on our Flat Rate plan, depending on experience and production.

    Our Automotive Technicians are responsible for high-quality diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of guest vehicles. The role includes comprehensive training from day one, preparing you for career advancement. As part of our team, you will perform repairs, ensure safety, and deliver a 5-star guest experience.

    This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives. Pay is based on experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualification scope.
    • Obtain guest approval for work after diagnosis; maintain a clean work area.
    • Complete thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
    • Test drive vehicles and use shop resources safely to manage inventory.
    • Collaborate and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable.
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Own basic automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program.
    • Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
    • Guest and team-focused mindset.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Current State Inspection/Emissions Licenses (PA and NY).
    • ASE certification in at least one area (A1-A8).
    • Automotive technical school certificate or degree.
