Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Automotive Technician with PA State Inspection and Emissions Licenses to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, with a focus on safety and quality. The position offers competitive hourly wages, with potential for additional incentives based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform automotive repairs including brakes, suspension, tire installation, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Secure customer approval before work and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs.
  • Test drive vehicles and operate shop equipment safely.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to junior technicians.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PA State Inspection and Emissions Licenses.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of automotive technician experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Basic set of automotive tools or participation in tool purchase program.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work with hands overhead.
  • Customer-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional State Inspection/Emissions Licenses (PA and NY).
  • ASE certification in at least one area (A1-A8).
  • Technical school certificate or degree.

Additional Information

This position offers competitive pay ranging from $15 to $20 per hour, with experienced, licensed, and certified technicians earning $20+ to $35+ per hour on a flat rate plan. New hires will participate in comprehensive training to support their success.
