Job summary

Herbruck Poultry Ranch is seeking a Sanitation I to clean and sanitize all equipment in the processing facilities nightly, using chemicals, washers, and compressed air to meet USDA guidelines and company standards.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, disassembling and sanitizing equipment parts, and maintaining safety practices. The role requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays and no routine contact with animals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as assigned.
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, goats, sheep, cattle, or unprocessed eggs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble parts from equipment.
• Perform all functions in accordance with sound safety practices and procedures.
• Use a power washer in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Use chemicals adhering to safety guidelines.
• Use and operate an air compressor to clean equipment.
• Follow assigned cleaning and sanitizing checklist.
• Perform any/all other duties assigned to you.
