Job summary

Herbruck's Poultry Ranch, Inc. is seeking a diligent team member to maintain product flow and uphold quality standards on the processing floor. You will support the Grading/Breaking Department daily operations, monitor washroom and line setups, and assist in training new staff while coordinating with USDA guidelines.

You will ensure safety, cleanliness, and HACCP compliance, with adjustable shifts including weekends and holidays, as required in a busy poultry facility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must follow HACCP and GMP rules.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays as assigned.
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, or cattle.
• All SQF courses completed with no corrective actions.
• Must pass job-required Observation and Assessment on LMS.
• Document 100 egg samples for QA as location-dependent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product flow and ensure compliance with Herbruck’s Quality Standards.
• Assist day-to-day operations of the Grading/Breaking Department.
• Ensure production runs efficiently.
• Proper running of the washroom.
• Proper running of the breaking room.
• Fill tankers.
• Maintain staffing levels throughout the workday.
• Work with the USDA.
• Assist with training of new members.
• Set up washroom and lines.
• Responsible for daily startup and end-of-day procedures.
• Responsible for daily cleaning.
• Perform HACCP checks every hour and document them.
• Prepare work area and necessary equipment as assigned.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors.

• Ability to stoop, bend, climb and lift at least 25 pounds. continuously throughout the day and 50 pounds occasionally.
