Job summary

Meritus Health seeks a Physician Assistant to join the Meritus Personal Health Institute (MPHI) clinical team in Western Maryland. You will perform comprehensive health assessments, coordinate preventive plans, and interpret advanced diagnostic data to guide personalized care.

The role emphasizes precision medicine, population health, and longitudinal participant follow-up, collaborating with physicians, health coaches, and researchers to translate complex data into actionable health

Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current NCCPA certification.
Current Maryland Physician Assistant licensure.
Current Maryland prescriptive authority.
Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive clinical assessments for MPHI participants as part of the program's intake and longitudinal care model.
Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations and preventive health assessments.
Review and interpret laboratory, genomic, pharmacogenomic, imaging, metabolic, and cardiopulmonary testing results within the PA's scope of practice.
Identify health risks, abnormal findings, and conditions requiring evaluation, treatment, or referral.
Develop individualized preventive health and wellness plans with the MPHI team.
