MICHIGAN INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

Nestled on more than 1,400 acres in the Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is a track rich in racing history. It has been the love of NASCAR racing and the thrill of a great time that has made it a favorite of race fans and drivers alike for more than 50 years. Michigan International Speedway has more than 12 campgrounds and is the state of Michigan's largest registered campground. In addition to two great weekends of racing, the speedway hosts events throughout the year including the MIS Backyard Hockey Tournament, Faster Horses Festival, and Nite Lites.

SUMMARY

Michigan International Speedway is hiring for Medical Event Staff. This is a part-time seasonal position.

Essential duties and responsibilities during events include:

• Performing medical triage and treatment functions consistent with Emergency Medical standards.
• Requesting and coordinating continuation of care as needed.

Certifications

• Current Michigan unencumbered medical license.
• Board Certified/Board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Advanced airway skills required.
• Current AHA (or equivalent) BLS certification.
• Current AHA (or equivalent) ACLS certification.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work overtime, including some evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must complete required online training initially and annually.
• Strong communication skills.
• Practice and maintain a professional work ethic.
• Abide by HIPAA at all times.
