Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Kentucky is seeking a capable shop technician to set up, operate, and maintain production equipment in a metal parts environment. The role focuses on delivering high quality parts, keeping machines at capacity, and ensuring proper maintenance in a machine shop or post-processing setting.

You will interpret schematics, perform tuning and preventive maintenance, and support safety and quality programs while collaborating with teammates to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and teamwork abilities with customer focus.

Job Summary

Set-up, operate, and maintain equipment for use in a machine shop production environment. They are responsible for ensuring the machinery produces high quality metal parts, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained. This position is intended for a machine shop and/or a post-processing (chemical treatment and painting) environment.

Responsibilities

• Start equipment and make adjustments to equipment when necessary to improve performance
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
• Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma / GED
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
