Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to join a high-volume cath lab team at 90 Blossom Street in Boston. The PA will perform histories, exams, order studies, and develop care plans, working with interventional cardiologists and fellows.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, pre/post-procedure evaluations, and documentation. Schedule is four 10-hour days, weekdays only, with no holidays, no on-call, and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant required.
• PA license by state is required.
• Experience as a licensed PA and procedural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to patients in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops plans of care and follow-up based on findings.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to policies.
• Maintains thorough documentation including admission, progress, and discharge notes.
• Performs cath lab procedures as first assistant and independent provider.
