TidalHealth, located in Salisbury, MD, is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician assistant to join our expanding team at TidalHealth Oncology & Hematology - Salisbury. We are part of a physician-led multi-specialty group that promotes quality care that is community driven.

Our team offers a four 10-hour shift schedule with a manageable first-call load, no weekend or holiday duties, and a focus on consults with limited inpatient admissions.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Accepts PA credential and board-certified status.
• Permanent Hematology/Oncology position.

Responsibilities

• Focus on consults and rotational inpatient duties, no admissions.
• Manageable first-call schedule Monday to Thursday, 5 PM–8 AM.
• Four 10-hour shifts per week with rotating weekly call.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Level III Trauma center with an award-winning Cancer Care Team
• Over 1,600 cases treated annually- 50% Hematology, 50% Oncology
• Accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC)
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Focus on consults and rotational inpatient duties, no admissions required
• Manageable first-call schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5PM to 8AM with a low average of calls per night (from home)
• Clinic hours in Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute Ocean Pines & TidalHealth John H. Burbage, Jr. Cancer Center
• Enjoy rotating weekly call among the APP team
• No weekend or holiday responsibilities
• Spacious examination rooms with state-of-the-art equipment and exceptional support staff
