Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• BLS certification (additional certifications may be required).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and exams.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per guidelines.
• Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care.
• Document encounters in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement and care coordination.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and evaluate PA students when scheduled.
