Job summary

Matrix Providers is seeking a Physician Assistant for Family Medicine/ Pediatrics to join Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson. This full-time role offers a compensation range of $66.00–$67.00 per hour with a schedule that generally runs weekdays, with potential for nights, weekends or on-call as needs arise.

The successful candidate will have an ARC-PA accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, BLS, and 24 months of recent family medicine experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• NCCPA board certification is required.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross is required.
• Active PA license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physician assistant services in primary and specialty care within scope and privileges.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat and manage acute, chronic, and preventive care needs.
• Perform examinations, screenings and immunizations; administer routine procedures.
• Recognize emergencies and refer complex cases as needed.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications per protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families; promote preventive health and self-management.
