CompHealth is seeking an experienced urologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Indiana. The role involves inpatient hospital duties, with 24-hour shifts, including cystoscopy and stent placement for hematuria and kidney stone management.

Qualifications

• No specific degree required beyond medical license and board certification.
• Experience covering inpatient urology cases in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient urology coverage on 24-hour shifts in a hospital.
• Perform cystoscopy and stent placement for hematuria when needed.
• Treat kidney stones including extraction or holmium laser lithotripsy.
• Provide Foley catheter consultation with ED and other services.
• Rounding required if procedure performed and patient remains inhouse.
