Job summary

Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, IL invites applications for a full-time Clinical Practice Professor in the Didactic Education for the Physician Assistant Studies Program. The role begins Sept 1, 2026, as the program develops towards ARC-PA accreditation with an August 2028 start target.

You will design curricula, teach across modalities, mentor students, and help build a growing PA program. The salary range is $100,000–$120,000.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ARC-PA accreditation preparation, including curriculum mapping, syllabi development, assessment documentation, program evaluation, and ongoing self-assessment.
• Participate in the development and review of the program’s mission, goals, competencies, policies, syllabi, learning outcomes, instructional objectives, and assessment strategies.
• Collaborate with the Program Director, Medical Director, and faculty to develop, implement, evaluate, and revise didactic and clinical curriculum content.
• Deliver high-quality instruction in the didactic phase using classroom, laboratory, simulation, case-based, small-group, and other active learning formats.
• Serve as course director, instructor of record, or team instructor for assigned courses.
• Develop and evaluate student assessments, including written exams, practical exams, OSCEs, assignments, clinical reasoning activities, and skills-based assessments.
• Provide timely feedback, academic advising, mentoring, counseling, and remediation to support student success and professional development.
• Participate in admissions, student selection, orientation, student progress review, and other student-related program activities.
• Help with outreach and development of supervised clinical practice experiences across required disciplines.
