Job summary

Elon University is seeking Clinical Instructional (Preceptor) for Physician Assistant Studies on Elon Campus. The role involves supervising 1–2 PA students per rotation to develop clinical skills and medical knowledge across pediatrics, hospitalist medicine, and women's health settings.

Qualified providers (MD, DO, PA, or NP) with active licenses and board certification are needed, with at least one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Active state license as MD/DO/PA/NP or equivalent.
• At least one year of clinical experience.
• Physicians must be board certified in their area of practice.
• Affiliation agreement with clinical site to host students.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and supervise 1–2 PA students per rotation in obtaining clinical skills and medical knowledge.
• Assess student performance using provided evaluation tools and provide constructive feedback for growth.
• Supervise in Pediatrics, Inpatient Medicine (hospitalist) and Women's Health rotations.
