Position Summary

The English Language Arts teacher is responsible for creating curriculum resources, aligning lessons with Keystone Assessment Anchors, and collaborating with grade-level teams to meet school goals in service to students.

Major Responsibilities
  • Create scope and sequence aligned with Keystone Assessment Anchors
  • Develop weekly lesson plans based on state standards and curriculum
  • Grade student work and provide timely feedback
  • Communicate expectations with team and families
  • Coordinate with ESL and special education teachers
  • Build positive relationships with students
  • Attend after-school events as needed
  • Ensure student safety and well-being
