American Paradigm Schools is seeking a Music Teacher to join the First Philadelphia campus. The role is full-time for 10 months, with a focus on creating resources and aligning curriculum to PSSA anchors. You will work with a grade-level team to meet school goals and support scholars.

You will collaborate with school leaders to analyze assessment data and inform instruction, while engaging families and sustaining positive relationships within a caring school community.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and PA teaching certification required.
• Experience aligning curriculum with state standards and assessments.
• Ability to analyze student data and inform instruction.

Position Summary:

The teacher is responsible for creating resources for our curriculum and aligning our curriculum with the PSSA Assessment Anchors. A teacher also works as part of a grade level team to coordinate school wide efforts in order to meet the goals of the school in service to the scholars.

Major Responsibilities

• Develop rigorous and appropriate lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in cooperation with school-based leadership
• Work closely with school leaders to analyze student assessment data to measure progress and use data to inform instruction
• Collaborate in grade level teams to discuss student work, share best practices and plan events for joy and humor
• Engage families in their children's education by building relationships and maintaining regular communication
