Altea Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for post-acute and skilled nursing care across Portland, Gresham, OR.

The PA-C will serve as a key clinical provider in multiple facilities, performing exams, managing conditions, and coordinating care with a healthcare team. This full-time role requires travel between sites and offers training and mentorship for both experienced providers and new graduates.

Qualifications

• PA-C license (or eligible to obtain)
• All experience levels welcome – training and mentorship available
• Passion for geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care
• Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated with a patient-first approach

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and prevention.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Support care coordination across facilities.
