Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a post-acute care team in a skilled nursing facility. You will diagnose, treat, and guide patients toward better health as a key clinical provider working with physicians, nurses, and staff.

We welcome both experienced providers and new graduates, offering training, mentorship, and a supportive environment with a focus on geriatrics and primary care.

Qualifications

• PA-C license (or eligibility to obtain)
• All experience levels welcome; training & mentorship available

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and guide patients in a skilled nursing facility as a PA-C
• Perform physical exams and review medical histories
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other tests
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff
• Educate patients and families on health and preventive care
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently
