Altea Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our post-acute and skilled nursing care team in Alabaster, Alabama. You will diagnose, treat, and guide patients toward better health in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

This full-time role offers swing shifts from 2–7pm with on-call duties 7am–7pm, a competitive base salary up to $145,000, uncapped bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package with ongoing mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• PA-C license required or eligible to obtain.
• Training and mentorship available for all experience levels.
• Interest in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care is essential.
• Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
