Altea Healthcare in Florence, Wisconsin is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for post-acute care in a part-time role. You will serve as a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, conducting exams, diagnosing conditions, and guiding patients toward better health.

We welcome both experienced providers and new graduates, with training and mentorship available. The role offers highly competitive pay ($420 - $560 per day) plus uncapped performance bonuses and a supportive team

Qualifications

• PA-C license or eligibility to obtain is required.
• DEA registration is required or must be obtained before start date.
• Experience level: all welcome, including new graduates.

Responsabilités

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.
