Altea Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for post-acute and skilled nursing care. This full-time role offers a competitive base salary up to $150,000 plus uncapped bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for mentorship and leadership.

As a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, you will diagnose, treat, order tests, prescribe medications, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• PA-C license (or eligibility to obtain)
• All experience levels welcome - training & mentorship available
• Passion for geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
