Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking a seasoned Bridge Inspection Team Leader to guide our Central and Eastern PA projects from offices across York, Camp Hill, Allentown, Fort Washington, or Philadelphia. You will drive vision, business development, staff management, and the financial success of our bridge inspection team located in PA.
You will mentor inspection staff, coordinate with the Structure teams, and develop teaming relationships as we expand work with PennDOT Districts,

The primary role for this individual is toexecute andmanage JMT’sCentral and Eastern PA bridge inspection work.The candidate willbe responsible forthe overall vision, business development, staffmanagement,and financial successofour bridgeinspection teamlocatedin various officesincentral and easternPA.This person willbe responsible formanagingand mentoringthetechnicalinspection staff, including coordinating staff assignments with theService Line Leader,Structureteamacross PA, andotherbridge inspection staffthroughout JMT’s footprint. The selected candidate will work closely with ourvariousPennsylvania Region Structure groupswhile managing, developing, fostering existing,and developing new market opportunitiesthroughoutPennsylvania with a focus on PennDOT Districts,Central Office,and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. The successful candidate will be expected tocoordinatedevelopment of teaming relationshipsandauthor anddevelopstatements of interest, technical and fee proposals, and presentations. In addition, the successful candidate willbe responsible forcoordination with clients, subconsultants, other government and regulatory agencies, and internal JMT staff.Finally, the candidate will serve as Bridge Inspection Team Leader asrequiredonproposed assignments.

Work is performed in the office (50% of the time) and in the field (50% of the time).
Field work will be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions and on uneven terrain or surfaces. Candidate must have the ability to perform inspections while bending, kneeling, or standing, and lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed. Work will require the operation of access equipment and performing inspections at heights requiring fall protection.
Office work is performed within a general office environment. Work isgenerally sedentaryin nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature areadequateand there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
