Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking in-home caregivers to provide non-medical care and companionship for older adults in State College, Boalsburg, Bellefonte, and surrounding areas of Center County.

You will assist with daily tasks, help with light housekeeping, accompany clients to stores and appointments, and support their health and well-being in the comfort of their own homes. We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Background check required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Paid training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Help older adults with daily tasks such as light housekeeping and organization.
• Accompany seniors to store, doctor appointments, and pharmacy.
• Organize transportation.
• Provide companionship and supportive presence.

You will allow seniors the comfort of receiving non-medical care in the familiarity of their own homes. In addition to helping older adults maintain their health and well-being, you will work to provide them with positive experiences that enhance the quality of their lives.

Benefits for caregivers:

• $14.00 per hour Monday- Friday Non-weekend schedule


• $17.00 Per hour Monday- Friday & alternating weekends(Saturday & Sunday)

Responsibilities for caregivers:

Must accept responsibility for learning and adhering to comfort keepers policies and procedures, function in the home setting with minimal direct supervision, and maintain satisfactory relationships with administrative staff, clients, and family members.
