Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking in-home caregivers to provide non-medical care and companionship for older adults in Altoona and surrounding areas. The role involves helping with daily tasks, providing transportation, and ensuring a safe, supportive home environment.

Pay ranges from $12.00 to $14.00 per hour with options for full-time or part-time schedules. Benefits include health and dental insurance, paid time off, and ongoing paid training in a compassionate, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Background check required.
• Permission to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
• Must accept responsibility for learning and adhering to Comfort Keepers policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Help older adults with daily tasks such as light housekeeping and organization
• Accompany seniors to the store, doctor appointments, pharmacy
• Organize transportation
• Must maintain satisfactory relationships with administrative staff, clients, and family members.

You will allow seniors the comfort of receiving non-medical care in the familiarity of their own homes. In addition to helping older adults maintain their health and well-being, you will work to provide them with positive experiences that enhance the quality of their lives.

• $12.00 per hour Monday- Friday Non-weekend schedule
• $14.00 Per hour Monday- Friday & alternating weekends(Saturday & Sunday)

Responsibilities for caregivers
