Job summary

Westinghouse Electric is seeking a P6 Scheduler for a 1-year contract assignment in Palo, IA. You will evaluate daily P-6 work schedules to improve equipment availability and manpower usage, publish daily schedules, and monitor progress.

Responsibilities include publishing schedules for refueling outages and daily maintenance, performing root cause analysis for schedule problems, and coordinating with engineering and vendors to align activities. Per diem is available.

Qualifications

• 6 - 10 years technical experience preferably in a nuclear facility in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations
• AS degree in Engineering or related physical science is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, publish, and monitor daily schedules for refueling outages and daily maintenance; perform root cause analysis for schedule problems.
• Must be knowledgeable of computer software programs, P6, Online scheduling applications, Work management processes.
