Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services seeks a P6 Scheduler for a 1-year contract in Palo, IA. You will evaluate daily P-6 work schedules, publish and monitor them, and coordinate with engineering and vendors. The role requires 6–10 years in nuclear facility engineering/maintenance and an AS degree, with per diem available.

You will develop critical-path schedules for daily maintenance and outages, reporting to the onsite Manager. Proficiency in P6 and related scheduling tools is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 6 - 10 years technical experience preferably in a nuclear facility in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations.
• AS degree in Engineering or related physical science.
• Must be knowledgeable of computer software programs, P6, Online scheduling applications, Work management processes.

• Prepare, publish, and monitor daily schedules for refueling outages and daily maintenance; perform root cause analysis for schedule problems.
• Liaise with engineering department and vendors to coordinate activities.

About The Role

We're looking for a P6 Scheduler on behalf of our client. This is a 1 year contract assignment. (W-2) You will evaluate daily P-6 work schedules to improve equipment availability and manpower usage; recommend appropriate modifications. Publish daily work schedules and monitors progress. Document schedule problems, maintains statistics and performs trend analysis.

Be the liaison with engineering department and vendors to coordinate activities. You will manage the development of computerized critical-path schedules for daily maintenance activities and for refueling and maintenance outages. You will report to the onsite Manager.

Location: Palo, IA 52324- Per diem available

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $55.00/hr. to 60.00/hr.
