Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Birmingham, AL seeks a P6 Scheduler to join the Energy Market Team. You will develop, maintain and optimize detailed project schedules, monitor performance and lead schedule update meetings to keep projects on time and budget.

You bring a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Primavera P6 scheduling, with strong CPM knowledge, analytic problem-solving, and clear communication. You will collaborate with Project Controls to integrate cost/schedule data and manage risks and

Overview

We are seeking a P6 Scheduler to join our Energy Market Team in Birmingham, AL.

Your role

• Develop, maintain and optimize detailed project schedules.
• Monitor schedule performance and variance; provide regular status updates to project manager.
• Perform Critical Path Analysis, identify and analyze critical paths/activities to ascertain project completion in time and in budget, including forecasting delays and evaluation of alternative scenarios.
• Lead schedule update and review meetings.
• Identify schedule risk and opportunities.
• Analyze schedule impacts resulting from change orders or scope modifications.
• Support cost/schedule integration, including contractor schedules, and collaborate with Project Controls to ensure accurate progress measurement.

About You

• Bachelor\'s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of scheduling experience using Primavera P6.
• Must have a strong understanding of CPM concepts and calculations.
• Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision‑making abilities. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $125,000 - $165,000 yearly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
