ASRC Federal is seeking a Program Control Analyst for a fully remote position supporting the Civilian and Health Operating Group.

Key Role:

The ideal candidate will be trained in multiple facets related to the financial management of a portfolio of programs. This individual should have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, the ability to adapt to changing environments, and the desire to be part of a team that can assist others when needed. Program control analysts often are handling multiple tasks in any given day which can require coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, good organizational and task tracking ability, and have the capability to build and foster relationships. Ultimately, a successful junior program control analyst is an independent worker managing a portfolio of programs with some managerial oversight.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support various ASRC Federal programs and special projects by providing financial & administrative support including project setup, vendor & AR/AP management, and ad hoc financial analysis for internal & external customers
  • Develop program related financial data and metrics to include program budgets and forecasting.
  • Provide oversight on financial tracking and the efficiency and effectiveness of financial programs; follow up on audit resolution and corrective actions
  • Serve as a business partner and adviser to senior leadership and program managers on all program financial matters for the assigned contracts
  • Utilize government accounting background to include month-end closing duties

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • 0-2years Program Control/Program Financial experience or relevant other experience in a federal government contracting environment
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Advanced Excel skill set; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or work experience and knowledge in lieu of degree

Preferred However, Not Required:

  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, IBM Cognos, and TM1 Financial Planning
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
