MindCare Solutions is hiring a part-time LMSW/LCSW/LPC to provide behavioral health services in a corrections facility in Baldwin, MI. The role requires psychotherapy, assessments, and evidence-based interventions delivered within a multidisciplinary team.

The position is onsite two to three days per week with compensation at $65 per hour on a 1099 basis, offering a clinician-first culture and a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unrestricted LMSW, LCSW or LPC license in Michigan.
• At least one year of experience in a correctional or forensic setting preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and pass all background checks.
• Facility-specific clearances or approvals may be required.

MindCare Solutions, a clinician-owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health care, is seeking a LMSW/LCSW/LPC to provide exceptional mental health services in a corrections facility. Schedule: Part-time, two to three days per week
Location: Baldwin, MI (onsite)

Compensation: $65 per hour, 1099

Position Summary:

As a clinician, you will deliver high-quality mental health care, including psychotherapy, psychological assessments, and evidence-based interventions, to individuals within a correctional setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the mental health and rehabilitation of incarcerated individuals, ensuring care aligns with ethical and legal standards. • Conducts psychological evaluations of inmates/detainees/residents (I/D/R) to diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Develops and implements appropriate treatment plans, including psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Assesses suicide risk and mental health status to determine the need for higher levels of care or observation.
• Collaborates with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for medication management and referrals.
• Supervises and trains mental health staff; provides in-service education and crisis intervention training for correctional and medical personnel.
• Maintains thorough documentation of services and participates in quality-of-care reviews.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must hold an active, unrestricted LMSW, LCSW or LPC license in the state of Michigan.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a correctional or forensic setting is preferred.
• Must successfully complete all required background checks and screening processes.Must be able to obtain and maintain any facility-specific clearances or approvals required for the position.
