Job summary

Focus on the Family in Branson, MO is seeking a part-time P/T Food Service/Housekeeping role to steward meals for couples during intensives, retreats and events. You will prepare meals from predetermined menus, serve guests, and help maintain a clean kitchen and dining area.

This temporary assignment may offer a hiring bonus. Applicants should have a high school diploma, 1-3 years of food service experience and Serve Safe certification, with strong customer service and the ability to follow

Job description

The P/T Food Service/Housekeeping position exists to provide stewardship for all aspects of serving couples through food service.

This position is a temporary assignment designed to meet current ministry needs. The duration of the assignment may vary and could be short-term or long-term, depending on evolving business requirements.

This position may qualify for a hiring bonus.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepares meals from predetermined menus for intensives, retreats, and special events
• Serves, interacts, and is sensitive to the needs of the couples and guests
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and dining area, daily Observes and follows all Health Department
• Codes Attends and maintains Chemical Training

Other Duties/Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as required

Working Environment/Physical Requirements

• Must be able to pass a Post Offer Prehire Physical exam
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
• Must be able to push/pull up to 25lbs
• Must be able to bend and reach above head
• Requires repetitive tasks/motions, good eye-hand-foot coordination, and good manual dexterity
• Some exposure to gases, odors, fumes, and sharp utensils

Knowledge/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in food service preparation
• Must have Serve Safe Certification

• Ability to work with various food preparation machines and equipment, sharp knives, and various chemicals

Salary Range: $15.00- $22.00\Hr.
