City of Deer Park is seeking an individual to lead 5-12 year olds in a recreation setting, supervise activities, manage behavior, and enforce policies within the After School Program.
Responsibilities include assisting with gameroom and special events during peak times, and performing related tasks under supervision of a Recreation Specialist. CDL is required for this role.
Performs a variety of administrative and semi-skilled tasks in the operation and maintenance of the After School Program.
Works under the direct supervisions of a Recreation Specialist who oversees the ASAP program
May direct some activities of ASAP program aides
Will lead 5-12 year olds in recreation setting, manage behavior problems, assist with activities and enforce policies and procedures.
Assistance with Gameroom and Special Events may be necessary during peak times.
Course work in Elementary Education, first aid and CPR certificates desireable. Work experience with 5-12 year olds in a recreational setting a plus.
CDL Driver License is REQUIRED
