Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a finance professional to own the P&L for multiple Optum Health leaders, partnering with leaders to identify risks and opportunities and to deliver quarterly forecasts. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and detailed monthly reporting across SG&A and FTE to support leadership decisions.

This role emphasizes producing actionable reports, financial insights, and ad-hoc analyses for Optum Health Leadership, with formal training and a full-time in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with forecasting and financial modeling.
• Experience with monthly financial reporting.
• Experience with data analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Experience with SmartView and PeopleSoft.
• Must be able to work four in-office days per week.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting for multiple Optum Health leaders.
• Create, maintain, and report on quarterly and monthly financial reports for various Optum Health Shared Services team leaders.
• Produce and present detailed P&L summaries.
• Identify risks and opportunities and inform business leaders of findings.
• Track and report on monthly and quarterly SG&A and FTE targets across all Optum Health businesses.
• Partner with Shared Services teams to provide financial insights to meet targets.
• Create Ad-Hoc reports requested by Optum Corporate and Optum Health Leadership.
