Job summary

Kahuna USA LLC in Broomfield, Colorado is hiring a full-time Drafter to support P&ID, PFD, and BFD drafting efforts. You will operate under supervision with clear instructions and collaborate with the Drafting Team Manager on day-to-day projects.

Responsibilities include producing professional drawings, incorporating redlines, and validating accuracy against source documents. CAD tools proficiency and strong organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be a motivated self-starter with initiative, drive and can work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Must be detailed oriented; precise and organized in handling of drawings.
• Solid organizational skills required; must be able to prioritize and multitask.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Community college drafting / CAD courses or previous experience with CAD required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 3-Dimensional drafting is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to take direction, learn standards, and follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings to have a professional appearance.
• Capture redlines accurately as assigned by the project lead.
• Back-check own work against redlined documents for accuracy.
• Maintain positive working relationships within the team.
• Learn Kahuna and client drafting standards.
• Perform basic 2D drafting using AutoCAD and CADWorx P&ID tools.
• Understand P&ID symbols and Kahuna functionality.
• Receive tasks from supervisor and manage timesheet approvals.
• Understand workflow from project start to finish.
• Communicate technical and administrative details via email and documentation.
• Prepare drawings for delivery while maintaining security and confidentiality.
• Be flexible with schedule to meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
