Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions in Texas is hiring a P&ID Designer to finalize drawings with accuracy, neatness, and speed, aligned to company and client standards, and to coordinate with other engineering disciplines.

You will produce high quality CAD drawings from redlined files, review for accuracy and compliance, apply company design standards, and create P&IDs from PFDs. CADWORX and ECE diagrams knowledge is a plus; oil and gas experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Past experience preparing design drawings using electronic methods (AutoCAD or similar).
• Past experience working within a design team environment.
• Ability to be flexible and resourceful when approaching and solving issues.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality smart CAD drawings from redlined files, emails, and/or previously drawn go-by files
• Review completed drawings for accuracy, neatness and compliance with OPD/Client specifications
• Understand and apply commonly used company design standards and methods
• Able to create P&IDs based off PFDs
• Knowledge of industry practices for P&ID layout
• Basic understanding of pipe specs for line number breaks
• Implement redline modifications
• Work independently without close oversight.
