Machine Inspector
Rincon, GA
Full-time, Non-exempt, 100% On-site
$22.00 per hour
M-F, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Eastern Time
Aertssen is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Machine Inspector to join our growing team. The Machine Inspector conducts detailed inspections, assessments, and evaluations of heavy construction machinery to ensure safety, performance, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness. This role identifies mechanical issues, documents equipment conditions, and adds customer-required decals, track units, and other defects. The Machine Inspector is considered a safety-sensitive position.
All this is always carried out in accordance with our company's quality, environmental, and health policies.
This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role. The essential functions of this position include the operation of heavy machinery, construction equipment, powered industrial trucks (including forklifts), or the supervision of employees performing such duties. Performance of these duties while impaired could present a substantial risk of serious injury to the employee or others.
As a result, this position is subject to pre-employment and other drug testing requirements consistent with Company policy and applicable state and federal law.
