Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer license required.
• 8+ years of electrical design and construction support experience.
• Strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design for industrial and commercial projects.
• Develop construction and installation drawings.
• Design grounding, lighting, power distribution, and branch circuit systems.
• Create single-line diagrams, equipment layouts, schedules, and specifications.
• Perform or oversee electrical calculations and power system studies.
• Review designs for code compliance, constructability, and technical accuracy.
• Provide technical support during construction and installation.
• Respond to RFIs and assist with field-driven design modifications.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, architectural, and process teams.
• Collaborate directly with clients, contractors, vendors, and construction teams.
• Manage, mentor, and review the work of Junior Engineers and Designers.
• Help establish design standards, quality-control procedures, and project best practices.
