Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in rehabilitation therapy, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients.
• Provide guidance and support to therapy staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for therapy staff.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of care provided by the rehabilitation team, and make necessary improvements as needed.
• Communicate regularly with patients, families, and caregivers to address any concerns or questions related to therapy services.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop individualized care plans.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in rehabilitation therapy, and implement new techniques and technologies as appropriate.

Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekend rotation)
