Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Commercial Billing Analyst to join our team and provide comprehensive support for billing, payments and all transaction processing. This position requires strong analytical skills and experience in Commercial Insurance, and Property and Casualty. This role is Remote and candidates must be basied in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage the billing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and all aspects of transaction processing
• Work with leadership to establish KPI's for the Billing and Payments department
• Take initiative in your role to assist in developing SOP's and making recommendations for improvements throughout the department - This could involve implementing billing software or developing standardized templates for invoices.
• Mentor junior staff members - This could involve providing training sessions, offering guidance on complex billing issues, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience required
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
• Commerical Insurance knowledge and experience with P&C Invoicing
• Proficient in using financial software applications, and advanced proficiency in Excel/formulas
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette.
