Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related field completed before start date.
• GPA 3.25+; 3.5+ preferred with unofficial transcripts.
• Experience with data and statistical analysis using Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python.
• Prior actuarial internship or similar work experience required.
• Completion of at least one SOA/CAS exam; two+ exams preferred; intent to earn ACAS/FCAS.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop actuarial recommendations for leadership and drive changes to meet financial objectives.
• Apply statistical modeling techniques to solve business problems and analyze questions.
• Collaborate with State Farm partners across the organization on multi-faceted issues.
• Support ongoing actuarial exam progress and contribute to exams program.
