Paint & Body Technician

We are experiencing exceptional growth and are seeking experienced Paint & Body Technicians to join our team. The technician will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and repainting damaged RVs, requiring knowledge of different body construction types and proficiency with various tools and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect damaged RVs and assess repair needs.
  2. Repair body damage using tools like hammers, grinders, and welders.
  3. Replace or repair damaged parts such as windows, doors, and trim.
  4. Perform roof repairs and replacements (Rubber, Tpo, Fiberglass).
  5. Match paint colors accurately and apply paint to repaired areas.
  6. Remove and install RV parts and fixtures, including A/C units, solar panels, and antennas.
  7. Test repaired systems for proper functioning.
  8. Maintain tools and equipment.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Prior experience in RV or automotive body repair preferred.
  2. Knowledge of RV body construction and working with Aluminum.
  3. Welding skills (Tig, Mig, Steel, Aluminum, Plastic).
  4. Understanding of composite materials, fiberglass, and carbon.
  5. Experience with gel coat, repair, and paint.
  6. Plastic repair expertise and fiberglass mold making.
  7. Electrical (AC/DC), Plumbing, HVAC skills preferred.
  8. Proficiency with various tools and paint matching techniques.
  9. Good physical condition, able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  10. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  11. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Working Conditions:
  1. Work primarily on-site in the service shop.
  2. May involve standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working in tight spaces or at heights.
  3. Exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals possible.
  4. May require working weekends or holidays.
