Paint & Body Technician

We are experiencing exceptional growth and seek experienced Paint & Body Technicians to join our team. The technician is responsible for repairing, restoring, and repainting damaged RVs, requiring knowledge of body construction types and proficiency with various tools and materials to restore vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect damaged RVs and assess repair needs.
  2. Repair body damage using tools such as hammers, grinders, and welders.
  3. Replace or repair parts like windows, doors, and trim.
  4. Perform roof repairs and replacements (Rubber, Tpo, Fiberglass).
  5. Match paint colors accurately and formulate paints.
  6. Sand, prime, and paint repaired areas to match existing finishes.
  7. Remove and install RV parts and fixtures, including ceramic tiles, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, and living quarters repairs.
  8. Remove A/C units, solar panels, and antennas as needed.
  9. Test repaired systems for proper functioning.
  10. Maintain tools and equipment.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Prior experience in RV or automotive body repair preferred.
  2. Knowledge of RV body construction types.
  3. Ability to work with Aluminum and perform welding (Tig, Mig, Steel, Aluminum, Plastic).
  4. Understanding of composite materials, fiberglass, and carbon.
  5. Experience with gel coat repair and painting.
  6. Plastic repair skills and fiberglass mold making experience.
  7. Electrical (AC/DC), Plumbing, HVAC skills are a plus.
  8. Proficiency with tools such as hammers, grinders, welders.
  9. Paint mixing and matching expertise.
  10. Good physical condition to lift heavy equipment and stand for long periods.
  11. Attention to detail and quality focus.
  12. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Working Conditions:
  1. Primarily on-site at the service shop.
  2. Extended standing, walking, and bending may be required.
  3. Lifting or moving heavy objects may be necessary.
  4. Work in tight spaces or at heights.
  5. Exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals.
  6. Work may include weekends or holidays.
