A leading aerospace staffing agency is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II for general VC maintenance. The role involves 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, reading engineering drawings, and adhering to safety procedures. JOB TITLE : (P) Aircraft Mechanic II - General VC Maintenance - Free Housing Support
PAY RATE : $35-40 / hour

Summary :
Sealing, painting, shimming, preserving aircraft structure.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Using tooling for structural parts modification and repair.
Performing flight controls installation, removal, and rigging.
Adhering to safety and operating procedures.
Requirements :
High school diploma or GED
4+ years of on-aircraft general maintenance experience.
Experience with Depot Level / Heavy General maintenance.
Proficiency in aircraft systems : hydraulic, flight control, monuments, landing gears, fuel systems, engines.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform modifications.
Eligibility for aircraft access approval (may exclude dual citizens).
Knowledge of shop mathematics and practices.
Proficiency in schematics, assembly drawings, and computer skills.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Desired Skills :
FAA A&P License or Military Technical School equivalent.
Experience with aircraft engine runs and borescope inspections.
Certification to operate equipment like forklifts and mobile cranes.
