P&A PUMP OPERATOR
The primary responsibility of a P&A Pump Operator is to run and understand the flow and function of the pump and manifold systems and have a working knowledge of pressures and how to control them.
This position will frequently require 10-50 lbs. of force and rarely require 50+ lbs. of force.
Requirements for this position more than 2/3 of the time while on the job (but not limited to): Standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, talking, and hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel.
The working conditions of the area in which the P&A Pump Operator shall perform his/her duties are located offshore with extensive outdoor assignments. While on the job (but not limited to): Vibration, fumes or airborne particles, work near moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions (other than weather), outdoor weather conditions, extreme heat (non-weather), and risk of electrical shock.
The amount of noise for this job is: Very Loud Noise (requires the use of ear plugs).
