Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 4–6+ years of experience in field marketing, retail marketing, retail education, experiential marketing, or related disciplines.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, or managing field teams, ambassadors, or event staff.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering retail training and educational programming.
  • Passion for movement, wellness, recovery, fitness, and community engagement.

We are looking for a P.A.C.E. Lead (Field Team Lead) to be a player-coach leadership role responsible for executing and scaling OOFOS' field marketing, retail education, community engagement, grassroots activation, and product trial efforts across key markets and vertical communities.

This role serves as both a hands-on field representative and the day-to-day leader of the P.A.C.E.R. (Field Marketing Rep) team, ensuring consistent execution of retail education programs, community initiatives, experiential activations, product trial experiences, and content capture efforts. Working closely with the GM, Run & Independent Specialty, the P.A.C.E. Lead (Field Team Lead) helps translate business priorities into field execution, supports program rollouts, develops team capabilities, and delivers meaningful experiences that strengthen consumer, retailer, and community relationships.

The ideal candidate is equal parts educator, field marketer, community builder, coach, and brand storyteller.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop members of the P.A.C.E.R. (Field Marketing Rep) team.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and field coaching sessions.
  • Build team schedules, territory plans, event assignments, and market coverage plans.
  • Establish field execution standards, best practices, and operating procedures.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning, and brand advocacy.
  • Partner closely with the GM, Run & Independent Specialty to align field priorities and opportunities.
Retail Education & Training
  • Personally lead retail training sessions, clinics, and educational programs across key accounts and priority markets.
  • Support the rollout and execution of seasonal education initiatives, product launches, and retailer training programs.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of product knowledge, brand storytelling, and recovery education across retail channels.
  • Gather retailer feedback and field insights to support continuous improvement of training programs.
  • Partner with Retail Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to support educational initiatives and account needs.
Community Engagement, Product Trials & Vertical Activation
  • Lead OOFOS' grassroots presence within running, walking, fitness, wellness, recovery, athletics, healthcare, and other strategic communities.
  • Develop and execute opportunities that drive meaningful product trial experiences within community, retail, healthcare, and event environments.
  • Identify opportunities for local partnerships, community integration, experiential engagement, and product trial activation.
  • Support the implementation of community-focused programs and initiatives developed in partnership with the GM and cross-functional teams.
  • Build relationships with community leaders, event organizers, retailers, ambassadors, healthcare professionals, and local influencers.
  • Serve as a senior brand representative within key communities and markets.
  • Establish best practices and performance expectations around consumer engagement, product trial, and experiential conversion opportunities.
Events & Experiential Marketing
  • Lead execution of retail activations, race weekends, trade shows, community events, and experiential marketing programs.
  • Support event planning, staffing, logistics, merchandising, inventory management, and consumer engagement.
  • Develop activation playbooks and execution standards for the P.A.C.E.R. (Field Marketing Rep) team.
  • Ensure all activations consistently reflect OOFOS' brand values and consumer experience expectations.
  • Act as lead field representative at priority events and brand initiatives.
  • Drive product trial opportunities that allow consumers to experience the OOFOS difference firsthand.
Content & Storytelling
  • Identify and coordinate opportunities for content capture across retail, community, and event environments.
  • Support the P.A.C.E.R. (Field Marketing Rep) team in creating authentic social-first content and storytelling opportunities.
  • Partner with Brand, Social, and Creative teams to amplify grassroots engagement, product trial moments, and field-generated content.
  • Help establish scalable systems for sharing field insights, activation recaps, and content opportunities.
Field Insights & Reporting
  • Consolidate and communicate retailer feedback, consumer insights, community learnings, and product trial feedback.
  • Monitor field activity, program effectiveness, market opportunities, and product trial performance.
  • Provide recommendations to the GM and cross-functional partners based on field observations and trends.
  • Support reporting and measurement of field marketing, product trial, retail education, and community engagement initiatives.

Physical Requirements
