Job summary

Emery Oleochemicals is seeking a dependable Production Operator II to join our Cincinnati manufacturing team. This role supports daily operations, transfers materials, loads and unloads products, and packages finished goods while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational efficiency in an industrial setting. 12-hour rotating shifts (DuPont Schedule) are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, industrial production, or similar preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal operating instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform interdepartmental pumping operations to transfer raw materials, intermediates, and finished materials.
• Load finished products and production residues into tank trucks and railcars.
• Package finished products into supersacks and bags with proper handling.
• Operate and monitor pumps, valves, hoses, and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and loading documents.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols; report abnormalities.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging of products.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and participate in safety meetings.
• Assist with additional production responsibilities as assigned by management.
